Awesome training aide.
An awesome training aide. It’s easy to get in a good workout running in about an hour, but for cycling it really takes a few hours. A 3 hour bike ride detracts so much time away from family, wife, kids. Being able to do this at home while using your own road bike is a super awesome setup. In conjunction with zwift, it turns the experience into a pseudo-video game since the pain is still there. Also, I started my seven year old out on cycling since she’s always seeing me workout, keeps her involved, sets an example, and creates positive habits for her. Be a leader men. Be better.

Perfect Trainer
Bought this as my first indoor smart trainer. Super easy to set up, especially with the Zwift cog. The resistance feels spot on. Highly recommend!

Overall solid purchase
I received the Core within 1-2 days since it shipped from a warehouse in my state. The controls came a few days later. I got around to setting it up, and I found the various guides distracting. The parts were on a template that was ok, The template to measure the frame width is a nice thought but difficult to use once you take the wheel off and have no way to support the frame. Then there was a manual that was extremely thick, but lacking. The manual was in several languages so it only had the basics.
What I would have liked to see was a guide that explained the whole process, including apps. I had already downloaded the Zwift app but had no idea there was a companion app until I saw it mentioned on FaceBook.
Once I got everything installed, I set up a laptop to a TV, synced all my devices, including the controllers and my Garmin Watch for heart rate.
I sent a workout from Tridot to Zwift and it worked great.
Everything worked great. So overall I am very happy once I got over the setup.
I may buy 2 more for my adult kids, and now that I know the nuances, it will be a breeze to set them up.
I started with 4 stars but the product worse well, and maybe it's my lack of understanding and really looking into everything, so I am going to give them 5 stars. The product does everything I expected after one ride so I am not going to knock a star off because the info was not presented the way "I" want it.

I struggled quite a bit to get the connection established for Zwift. I had to pair some devices to the phone, the PC detects others. Regardless, I'm really happy with the product. The 'clicker' virtual shifting kept dropping connections but the bundle with the left & right controllers has been working flawlessly. -1 star for the virtual shifting issue with the 2 button clicker. I really appreciate the TrueMED / FSA option.

Great 1st Smart Trainer
I have been Zwifting since 2017 and until Nov. 24 I have been using a basic wheel-on trainer that did transmit power and speed, but was not game-controllable. And that was fine, but I ultimately wanted something that responded to the terrain in the game and that I could easily remove my bike from for outside riding. At this price the Kickr Core Zwift One gave me that opportunity. It was very easy to set up, it instantly responds to changes in the game for ascents and descents and changes "gears" without delay with the Zwift Click. I especially like that I can use my 10 speed road bike, or my 8 speed MTB on it without needing to change cassettes, and either bike rides pretty much the same with the virtual shifting of the Kickr. I can train with either bike on it and the resistance/shifting feels the same. I'm not worried about varying game performance when I switch bikes. I definitely would recommend!
