No need to buy a brand-new treadmill to start Zwifting. There’s a whole new way to run on Zwift, thanks to the Runn Smart Treadmill Sensor from North Pole Engineering.
The Runn sensor easily installs onto the side rail of most treadmills. Using an optical speed sensor to track belt rotation speed, Runn broadcasts data directly back to Zwift via BLE and ANT+.
What does this mean? You get the most accurate speed, distance, incline, and cadence data while running on Zwift. Helping you level up every time you train.

Easiest monitor I ever hooked up. Automatically starts when i open Zwift. A great upgrade from a shoe pod. I used duct tape under the sensor strips as the duct tape sticks to the treadmill belt aggressively and the sensor tape sticks nicely to the duct tape.
Installation and calibration was a breeze for me. It turned my old treadmill into one that can work with Zwift within minutes. The data (incline, pace) are pretty accurate after calibration.
It also pairs to my Garmin Forerunner 955 watch as a foot pod, so I can use the watch to record my workout without Zwift. The data are much more accurate and reliable than my Garmin HRM PRO Plus heart rate chest strap (I've calibrated the strap with outdoor runs).
Hence, I would really recommend this product and it's definitely a great value for the price
My treadmill’s lowest level incline is 1.5, not 1.0. There are no .5 options. Would love to have more accurate incline calibration options to have more accurate readings for my treadmill workouts.
Other than that works great so far 👍🏼
This enabled me to run my own SPM instead of the foot pod using foot speed as my "running speed", works well and haven't had any issues!
The combination of this unit and the Zwift running program is beyond amazing. Build a training program, test, review your stats and train in a way that sets achievable goals. Great unit!
