Impressed
I just did my first 30 mile on this setup. As a rider of both indoors and outdoors I would consider myself reasonably well versed in the area of cycling. I am by no means an expert or pro rider. I have used many indoor bikes of varying sophistication and price. After my first ride on the Zwift Ride I must say I'm impressed. My entire Zwift experience has changed for the better. I believe this setup will suit most riders. It's very responsive, easy to assemble and intuitive. Zwift has really done their research. I was beyond impressed with the packaging. Literally all of the packaging was easy to break down and fit into my recycle bin. Zero Styrofoam, amazing. I loathe Styrofoam! The ride is smooth & super quiet. Time will tell about durability. Thus far, I am very pleased. The simplicity of it all makes this genius for those just starting indoor cycling. There will always be naysayers and snobs who scoff at concepts similar to the Zwift Ride. Do your research and if it suits your needs, partake and enjoy! Cheers.

Met My Hopes
I was quite intrigued when i saw the Zwift ride was coming out. Seemed like a relatively affordable , clean, all-in-one setup. My Ride came today. Very easy to set up. A few things I was worried about: how will the shifting feel, overall fit (despite the ability to adjust), the sturdiness while sprinting (that front leg just looked off to me), and comfort of the game play like controllers. I used to race in road cycling so I am a bit particular on the feel up in the cockpit. On all of these concerns, I made quite happy all around. It is solid and simple, easy to take off and on. I actually enjoyed sprinting with this more than my previous setup (odd right), the single chain smooth ride with virtual shifting was pretty seamless. The bars actually felt nice. I may have preferred a more traditional shifter type deal, but it all was pretty nice. I only did a 30 minute group ride, so maybe things will come up. But I am really happy and impressed. It was fun and more realistic than my previous set up. I cant wait to go back on!

The best indoor riding solution for use with Zwift
I was previously riding an old road bike on a Kickr 5 and thinking it was a pretty sweet setup. Due to time constraints, weather, etc, I ride indoors 2-3 times per week, even in the summer months. I was using the Zwift Play controllers and really liked the functionality they offered. I did like the fact that they would not stay in position and would slip down around the bars just enough to where I had to reach around the top of the bar to reach the buttons. Not a deal breaker, but annoying all the same. My road bike was really showing its wear and was not shifting as smooth as it used to. So when the Zwift Ride came out, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I was waiting for a firmware upgrade to come out for the Kickr 5 to work with the Zwift Cog. I received an email stating that firmware update would not be made available for the Kickr 5, so I immediately ordered the Zwift ride and wow I am glad I did! The unit is heavy, rock solid and attractive. I was able to dial in the fit just right and perhaps even better than my old road bike. The biggest difference came when I first started peddling and realized that I was able to push far more watts with less effort as before. Come to find out the drivetrain on the old bike was so worn out I was having to push extra hard just to turn the cranks. Another item of note is in the handlebar mounted play controllers - huge difference. It is so much easier to reach the buttons which will never shift position since they are part of the…

Noob to Indoor Cycling
I have just started back to take up Cycling in my 50s after not really cycling since High School. I have enjoyed the experience and have lost a lot of weight from it. The heat in my area has gotten really bad which made cycling outdoors had to do and I live in a rural part of the US, so night riding is a deadly game on the back roads with no cycle lanes. I decided to check into indoor trainers, I had no idea what Zwift was. I was looking at the Peloton and my company had gotten one so I start to us it, but it is not easy to get sweaty at work. I then stumbled on the Zwift Ride by accident and decided to purchase one for the house. First, the shipping was incredibly fast for me. I have riden almost everyday and sometimes multiple times a day. My watts are TERRIBLE still but it is so much fun and with the Zwift Ride, I didn't have to dedicate a bike to it or have to figure out all the pieces I would need. I got it by FedEx around 10am and was biking on Zwift for the first time ever by 11am. The longest part was figuring out and finding the thru axle for the trainer.

Best Value Indoor Option Yet
It's the best and easiest trainer setup I've had to date. I no longer have to remove my bike to go for a ride or mess with my chain constantly. Also, the Zwift cog provides the most seamless shifting and wattage tracking I've ever had. Finally, the bike's adjustability makes getting into the best riding position as easy as turning the wrench.
